During her lifetime, Stevie Ryan was a highly talented YouTube personality, comedian, and actress. She became famous for her sketch-comedy videos and Internet parodies, which were distributed via her YouTube channel “Little Loca”.

After her success in social media, Stevie Ryan made a smooth transition into mainstream media when she made a number of notable television appearances. She was the headliner of her own comedy show on the VH1 network Stevie TV and also co-hosted the pop culture show Sex with Brody on the E! network.

Sadly, the multi-talented artist died in June 2017 at the age of 33, which brought her life and her promising career to a tragic end.

Stevie Ryan Biography, Age

Stevie Kathleen Ryan was born on June 2, 1984, in Riverside, California. At the age of 2, her family moved to the small village of Victorville, California, where she grew up. Her father Steve Ryan is the owner of the Desert Scale Company. She grew up with 2 siblings; an older brother named Eric and a younger brother named Cody. She received her early education at Liberty Elementary School in Victorville, and for high school, she attended Silverado High School. After graduating, she enrolled at Victor Valley College in Victorville, California, but it is unclear whether she graduated from college.

Stevie Ryan moved to Los Angeles at the age of 19 to pursue a career as a model and actress. As her Hollywood career slowly picked up, Ryan stumbled upon the 21st-century gold mine called the Internet, which eventually proved to be a quicker route to fame. Armed with her then boyfriend’s camera and the editing software on her PC, the talented young woman began publishing her own YouTube videos. At first, she experimented with different types of videos, but eventually, she began to appeal to a wide audience when she started making parody videos of celebrities and popular television shows.

Thanks to her hilarious A-Lister impressions, Ryan’s audience grew from a few hundred to several thousand clicks in a relatively short period of time. From Justin Bieber to Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian, no one was spared Ryan’s hilarious imitations. Among her most popular parodies are the parodies of Amy Winehouse, which have received more than 11 million hits since they were uploaded in August 2007. She also created a collection of her own original characters, including “Little Loca” and “Sceney Sceneable”. Ryan’s success on the Internet has brought her the attention of several television stations, paving the way for her easy ascent into mainstream media. One of her previous television appearances was as co-host of the short-lived reality show Online Nation on the CW network.

In 2012, Ryan’s parody video of the E! reality series Pretty Wild caught the attention of one of the show’s production companies, New Wave Entertainment, and this led to a snowball effect in the development of her own sketch comedy series Stevie TV on the VH1 network. The series was mainly about Ryan’s imitation of the Hollywood A-listers with an infusion of their own original characters. Stevie TV ran two seasons from March 2012 to July 2013, and in July 2015 Stevie Ryan hosted the relationship talk show Sex with Brody on E!

Stevie Ryan Boyfriend, Husband

Stevie Ryan was unmarried during his lifetime but had a number of romantic relationships. The most remarkable of these relationships was with the Hollywood actor and musician Drake Bell. Their relationship dates back to 2005 and lasted just over a year.

There were rumors that Ryan also dated blogger and TV star Perez Hilton (2005-06), Cuban-born model Tomas Dew (2006-07), and TV executive Eli Holzman (2007), but none of these relationships were actually confirmed.

Stevie Ryan’s most recent publicly known relationship was with the singer/songwriter Adam Paranoia. Their relationship lasted from 2008 to 2010, and the two are also said to have gotten engaged.

Death & Cause of Death

Stevie Ryan’s life came to a tragic end on July 1, 2017, and, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, her death has ruled a suicide by hanging. The body of the 33-year-old was discovered by her parents in their apartment in Los Angeles.

Prior to her unfortunate death, Stevie Ryan shared her long struggle with depression in a series of podcasts entitled “Mentally Ch(ill)”, which she hosted with her comedian colleague and radio personality Kristen Carney. Ryan is said to have attempted transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), an experimental treatment for depression in the midst of other treatments. Unfortunately, however, all this ended too soon when she gave up the ghost.
