Why Do People Think Kim Fields Husband Is Gay?
There have been several speculations that Kim Filyd’s husband, Christopher Morgan, is gay. The rumors were first spread in February 2016 from Kenya Moore via The Real Housewives of Atlanta. According to Moore, there is a long and widespread belief in the entertainment industry that Morgan is sexually attracted to his gender, which has earned him the name “Chrissy”.
However, in an interview with E!, Kim’s husband refuted the speculation, explaining that it originated from his apparent lack of familiarity in Hollywood before his date and later marriage to the already famous Kim Fields. According to Morgan, no one knew a woman he was dating at the time, and so people began to suspect that he must have been homosexual. He also linked the rumors to his choice of career in music theatre, namely singing and dancing on Broadway. Morgan later revealed that Kenya Moore apologized to him and publicly for the accusation.
