Fabio Tavares, also known as Fabinho, is a Brazilian professional footballer who holds the position of a defensive midfielder for the English Premier League (EPL) Liverpool football club. He started his professional career with the Portuguese team Rio Ave of the Primeira League. The talented footballer was born Fabio Henrique Tavares in Campinas, Sao Paulo, Brazil. He saw the light of day on October 23, 1993, and was born to the Brazilian Joao Roberto Tavares and his wife Rosangela Tavares. He has Brazilian citizenship and belongs to the white ethnic group. Following his outstanding performances, Fabinho was recruited by Liverpool Football Club for the English Premier League. He signed a long-term contract worth 39 million pounds with the Reds.
