The offensive tackle, who spent much of his professional career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has set the record for the most regular-season starts in a row at 170 and has never missed a regular-season game since joining the league as a rookie until 25 December 2017 when he was forced offside by a foot operation.

Donald Penn Biography

Penn was born on April 27, 1983, as Donald Ward Penn, one of two children of parents Nancy and Donald Penn Sr. in Los Angeles, California, where he also grew up.

As a child, Penn showed impressive athletic ability and the desire to become either a basketball or soccer professional. He attended Saint Bernard Catholic High School, where he achieved letterman status in both sports. In basketball, Penn was in the All-State selection, while in football, after being selected as a junior in the second team of the All-League, he was named Lineman of the Year in the first team of the All-League and in the first team of the All-California Interscholastic Federation.

After graduating high school in 2001, he attended Utah State University, where he majored in sociology. He also played an important role in their football team, which participated in the Mountain West Conference. Penn began a school record – he played 44 games in both tackle positions and it was noted that he never admitted a sack during his entire college career.

Upon graduation, Donald Penn was signed by the Minnesota Vikings on May 5, 2006, as an unencumbered free player. His first year in the league was full of ups and downs as he was released from the team a few months later, on September 2, 2006, but rejoined the training squad the following day. On October 4, 2006, Penn left Minnesota and signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he worked hard to prove he was made for the big leagues. In 2009 the Buccaneers rewarded him with a one-year contract worth $2.792 million to stay with the team.

When that contract expired, Donald Penn, who had proved crucial to the success of his side, signed a six-year $43 million contract. A few months after putting the pen to paper, Los Angeles-born Donald Penn scored the first touchdown of his career against the San Francisco 49ers. In 2014, after eight years with Tampa, Penn was released from the team so he could return home to sign for the Oakland Raiders, for whom he is still playing at the time of writing.

Who is His Wife?

Donald Penn is married to Dominique Penn, who used to be on the E! reality TV show WAGS and owns the children’s boutique, Strollers, and More! It is not known exactly when the couple met or began dating, but they exchanged vows in June 2012 and have three children; sons Donald III and Dominick and a daughter named Demi.

The couple was recently in the news after Dominique accused their husband of infidelity with actress and model Camilla Poindexter in social media. In the 2016 Instagram Post, Mrs. Penn wrote, “My husband cheated on me with that hooded rat. She knew from the first jump that he was married! He knew he was married! They did this to my family! You don’t get brownie points for fucking a married man for a check because he thought he was leaving his wife!”

It was further reported that the athlete even fathered a child, a daughter named Dylan Noelle Poindexter with his mistress. Despite all the drama, the couple still lived together, at least until the summer of 2018, after both revealed that they were going through a bad divorce. The explanation came after TMZ reported that police had been called to the Penn home after a verbal and perhaps physical altercation.
