Dak Prescott entered the world’s richest football league (National Football League – NFL) as a replacement for his team’s starting quarterback, but due to injury the starting quarterback was pushed to the sidelines and Prescott was put on the starting line-up. Nathaniel and Peggy Prescott gave birth on July 29, 1993, to Rayne Dakota “Dak” Prescott as younger siblings of Tad and Jace (brothers) and Natalie Prescott-Smith (sister) including his half-brother Elliott Prescott from his father’s first marriage.

He grew up as a student at Haughton High School in Haughton, Louisiana, where he began playing football for the Buccaneers. By his senior year, Dak led his team to victory over the 2010 District 1 AAAA champions, while in his honor he recalls his high school football career with 159 of 258 passes over 2,860 yards and 39 touchdowns.

Rayne joined Mississippi State University in 2011 and participated in the Mississippi State Bulldogs soccer program.  He was redshirted in his freshman year for Tyler Russell, but by 2012 he had played a total of 12 games, playing 8 of 29 passes over 194 yards with 4 touchdowns and no interceptions. In 2013 the number of his games dropped to 11, in which he played 156 of 267 passes for 1,940 yards with 10 touchdowns and 7 clean interceptions. With a 44-7 victory over the Rice Owls in the 2013 Liberty Bowl, Dak Prescott was named MVP of the Bowl. Already in his 2014 season he burned, broke records and set new ones, some of which are still standing today. He recorded 14 rushing touchdowns this season, a single season of 3,449 passing yards, 41 touchdowns in total, 27 passing touchdowns, 4,435 yards of total attack.

Dak Prescott has been named Manning Award Player of the Week five times, SEC Offensive Player of the Week 2014 three times, SEC Offensive Player of the Week 2014 three times, SI.com’s 2014 Honorable Mention All-American and was also on the SEC’s Academic Honor List for Fall 2014, among many others. After an impressive 2015, which saw him finish with 3,793 yards, 29 pass touchdowns, and 10 rushing touchdowns, as well as numerous national and school awards, Dak Prescott was fully prepared to begin his professional career in the NFL.

He was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2016 NFL draft in the fourth round (135th place in total) of the draft as a backup to develop after Tony Romo. After an injury the veteran suffered before the season, Dak worked his way up to the starting lineup for the 2016 season.

In his team’s first game of the season, he showed an impressive performance but ended up losing to the New York Giants. He ended his rookie season with 3,667 passing yards, 282 rush yards, a total of 29 touchdowns and only four interceptions with a final score of 67.8 in the 16 games he played. Among the awards, he has received this season is the Offensive Rookie of the Month – November, the winner of the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year and the NFL Rookie of the Year.

The former Haughton High School student finished his 2017 season with 3,324 passing yards, 22 passing touchdowns, 13 interceptions, 357 rushing yards and 6 rushing touchdowns in all 16 games he played this season. Much more is expected of Dak Prescott, and there is no reason to doubt his abilities.

Family – Girlfriend, and Parents

Prescott was born the son of Nathaniel and Peggy Prescott. His father is African-American, while his mother, who has since passed away, was European-American. He lost his mother Peggy in November 2013 to colon cancer and is wearing the number 4 jersey to honor his late mother, who had her birthday on September 4. The footballer also established the Faith Fight Finish Foundation in her honor to help people in need.

Dak Prescott was first known to date Kayla Puzas from 2014. Her relationship was made very public to her fans through the frequent social media posts (pictures) that she posted on her respective social media accounts. By 2015, however, the two separated and wrote down, in the same way, all the posts they published about their relationship.

Next came Yasmine Nicole, with whom he started dating in September 2016. Nicole works as a model for Playboy and since she is a hottie, her social media accounts were again decorated with pictures of the two together.
