Clark Gregg was born on April 2, 1962, in Boston, Massachusetts, and grew up in a family that moved a lot. By the time he was 17, he had already lived in seven different cities. He went to high school in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where his dad worked as a professor at Duke University.
