Like her father Ron Howard, who is an actor and film director, Bryce Dallas Howard is an actress and director. Like her mother Cheryl, she is also a producer and writer. Being born as the oldest child in a family brings responsibilities and challenges, especially for girls, and for Bryce, this was no other scenario. Despite the fact that she came from a family with a long history of acting, she was prevented from going in the same direction, but the passion that burned within her saw her clinging to what she wanted and showing her the way to get there. Bryce Dallas Howard – Early Life

Bryce Dallas Howard was born in Los Angeles, California, and grew up in New York and Connecticut. Her parents are Ron Howard and Cheryl Alley Howard. She was born on March 2, 1981, and her father, Ron, is a well-known actor and film director in Hollywood, while her mother, Cheryl, is a writer.

She is the first child of the family and has three other younger siblings – twin sisters, Jocelyn and Paige, and a brother, Reed Howard. One would say that Bryce Howard’s talent in the entertainment industry comes from her father, who is from a line of actors and entertainers. So it’s no surprise that she caught the gene, although she was not groomed to follow the pattern.

This means that although Bryce and her siblings had a showbiz father and were also surrounded by people from the entertainment world (Tom Cruise was a family friend), they did not have the freedom that other American children were given. They were not encouraged (I think “allowed” should be the word) to watch television at home.

Their parents even encouraged them to participate in outdoor activities such as sports and other hobbies. Show business was not encouraged while she was growing up. It is ironic, however, that Bryce’s first contact with the big screens was actually through her father. Ron, who was a film director, always used her to cast extras in his films.

Bryce Howard began her high school education at Greenwich Country Day School but did not graduate because she continued her education at Byram Hills High School and graduated in 1999. After high school, she transferred to the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University (NYU) and studied there for three years (instead of four) while taking classes at Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

She also participated in the recording of the Broadway musical A Tale of Two Cities. In her third year of study, she finally left NYU to concentrate on her career. She attended Performing Arts camp, Stagedoor Manor – with her acting colleague Natalie Portman, The Actors Center, New York, and the Steppenwolf Theatre Company school in Chicago.

Career Synopsis

Bryce Dallas Howard began her career as an actress by appearing in Broadway plays, but she received recognition for her role in the 2004 film The Village. That was her role in a breakout movie. Director M. Night Shyamalan, who directed the psychological thriller, saw her play on the Broadway stage in the 2003 play As You Like It.

After the successful interpretation of her role and the positive reviews she received, she earned another role in the fantasy thriller Lady in the Water in 2006. In the same year, she received her first nomination for the Golden Globe Award for the role in the film adaptation of As You Like It. She starred in Spider-Man 3 (2007), Terminator Salvation (2009), and Victoria (a vampire) in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010).

Bryce Howard continued to sell worldwide with her appearances in the science fiction series Jurassic Park – Jurassic World (2015) and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) – and they have been her most financially rewarding film appearance to date.

Bryce Dallas Howard is no longer on the market because she is married to her actor colleague Seth Gabel, whom she met in 2001 during her dropped-out college program at New York University (NYU). They would carry on until today, before they would get married five years later, on June 17, 2006. They already have two children, but Bryce says the children were not supposed to come at the time they did. She and her husband Seth had agreed to settle into the business of raising children and doing housework when they were in their thirties.

However, this plan was shelved after Bryce found out that she had become pregnant only seven days after they said “I do”, and now they have two lovely children. Their first child is a boy born on February 16, 2007, named Theodore “Theo” Norman Howard-Gabel, and the second, a girl named Beatrice Jean Howard-Gabel. Beatrice was born on 19 January 2012.
