Jason Momoa’s Wife
She is no stranger to the world, Lisa Bonet is best known for her role as Denise Huxtable-Kendall in the sitcom The Cosby Show. Funny story, Momoa had a massive crush on her as she grew up, we can’t imagine how amazing it is to grow up and actually marry your childhood celebrity, he lives the dream.
Before she became Jason Momoa’s wife, Lisa was married to singer Lenny Kravitz. Don’t worry, the marriage was properly terminated before she remarried. The two of them burnt out on November 16, 1987, which happened to be their 20th birthday. They had their daughter, Zoe Isabella Kravitz, on 1 December 1988, then five years later the marriage ended.
She was on her own for a while, but in 2005 she was introduced to the star by a mutual friend, little did she know that she was about to become Jason Momoa’s wife. Here’s what Jason had to say about the experience of meeting her for the first time.
We met through mutual friends, but when I first met her, she didn’t know I was a stalker, but I was. I was with one of my best friends and when I turned around and they wanted to introduce us, literally like fireworks. She said, “Hello, I’m Lisa”. And I said, “Hi, I’m Jason,” and I just turned around to my buddy, like…. (freaks out).
It’s so great that it worked for them, especially since it’s going to take a decade this year for them to tie the knot.

Jason Momoa’s Kids
The couple has two lovely children together and they were born in 2007 and 2008 one year apart. Her daughter Lola Iolani first came when she was born in July 2007, then came her son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha (yes, that’s the name of a person) who was born on December 15, 2008.
That’s a long name, but his mother revealed the wonderful meaning behind it, Nakoa means “warrior” and Mana stands for “strength/spirit”, Kaua (rain) and Po (dark) refer to the circumstances of the night he was born, which was a night of turbulent weather, rare in Los Angeles. He also shares the name Namakaeha with his father.
Jason also has a very close relationship with his stepdaughter Zoe Kravitz, the two even have weirdly fitting tattoos extending across their forearms. The tattoos say: ‘ etre toujours ire’, which means roughly translated: “Always be drunk”. There must be an interesting story behind it.
Furthermore, Lisa, Jason, and Lenny have the perfect mixed family. Zoe confirmed this in 2015 when she told Ocean Drive Magazine: “It makes things so easy that my parents are still very close, they have so much love for each other, my father and my stepfather get along really well, and my father loves and is close to my brother and sister.
Jason Momoa’s Scar
Think of it as a kind of battle scar where the emphasis is on the part “of the kind”. The scar on his left eyebrow has become an integral part of the actor’s brand and has given his handsome boy a certain character and danger. He has had the scar for almost a decade and there is a very interesting story behind it.
The star went out for a few drinks with friends, but sometimes buddies+alcohol+strangers is a recipe for disaster. Fortunately, this disaster didn’t cost him the eye because he was involved in a brawl that ended with him picking up a glass of beer. The glass broke, but miraculously it didn’t blind him.
It took 140 stitches to mend him, but still, it took care of the “problem” of the pretty boy he had carried around with him for a while, so he looked more like a pretty bad boy.
