Avan Jogia is a British-Canadian actor, singer, author, and director born on February 9, 1992. He first gained notice for his role as Danny Araujo in the TV movie “A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story” (2006). Moving to the United States as a teenager he appeared in various television shows including “Caprica” (2009–2010).

Jogia became widely recognized for playing Beck Oliver in the Nickelodeon show “Victorious” (2010–2013). He further established himself with roles like Danny Desai in “Twisted” (2013), Tutankhamun in the “miniseries Tut” (2015), Roman Mercer in “Ghost Wars” (2017–2018) and Ulysses Zane in “Now Apocalypse” (2019). Avan Tudor Jogia was born on February 9, 1992, in Vancouver Canada. His parents are Wendy who has English German and Welsh ancestry and Mike who is of British Indian Gujarati descent. Avan’s older brother Ketan is a music producer in London. Besides English Avan also speaks some Gujarati and French.
