According to Connecticut State Police, a woman from New Fairfield has been charged with second-degree sexual assault and other crimes following an investigation into allegations that she had intercourse with a juvenile.
Andie Rosafort, 31, described as a “team member of the education system” by State Police, is also accused of luring a juvenile online and endangering their safety.
Administrators at New Fairfield High School contacted the New Fairfield Police Department in January after learning of “potential inappropriate interaction between a team member of the school system and a juvenile pupil,” according to State Police.
According to State Police, detectives from the Major Crime Unit ultimately took over the school resource officer’s investigation.

A Connecticut school lunch lady reportedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old student at her school after grooming him via text.
Andie Paige Rosafort, a former New Fairfield lunch attendant, is accused of sending a teenage boy nude photos and videos via Snapchat for six months and participating in sexual activity with him.
According to State Police, the victim left a party in January to meet with an adult female, who was originally provisionally identified as Andie Rosafort. They found this information through several interviews.
Authorities were notified that the victim had been “conversing with an adult female, whom the victim ultimately identified as Rosafort, through private messages on social media for several months.”
Rosafort is also accused of sending the victim unsolicited sexually explicit photos and videos via a social media account.
He also allegedly sent them texts requesting photos of them. The victim claimed Rosafort picked them up from the January Party, drove a brief distance, and engaged in sexual contact with them inside the SUV, according to State Police.

“Detectives inspected the victim’s cell phone and found several screen recordings of films on an explicit social media platform showing an individual identified by investigators as Rosafort,” according to the report.
After obtaining “Rosafort’s cell phone data as well as records from a social media account associated with Rosafort,” State Police discovered photographs and videos that matched the victim’s descriptions.
According to State Police, Rosafort’s arrest warrant application was granted by the Western District Major Crime Squad on Friday.
Rosafort turned herself in at Station A in Southbury on Monday, according to State Police. She is presently free on $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on March 1st.
