The actress was born on April 18, 1984, as the youngest of six children of América Griselda Ayes and Carlos Gregorio Ferrera. Although she was born in Los Angeles, California, her parents’ origins can be traced back to Tegucigalpa, Honduras, but they moved to the United States in the mid-1970s.
