Neil Walker was born in the world of sports and has learned through experience and also through practice. He is an outstanding baseball player, currently playing the second baseman with the New York Yankee of the Major League Baseball (MLB). Neil Walker’s Biography 

Neil Martin Andrew Walker, whom fans call “Daddy”, was born on September 10, 1986, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but grew up in the suburbs of the North Hills. He attended Pine-Richland High School and graduated in 2004. He was very versatile in all sporting things and played as a catcher for the baseball team in jersey no. 24 and was a wide receiver for school football. He went as far as playing on the basketball team but left the team in his senior year. He distinguished himself by winning the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Male Athlete of the Year, which was highly coveted at the time.

From his early beginnings, Neil had always been a big fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and never missed a game. He stayed until 2004 when he signed autographs from Ken Griffey, Jr. and Frank Thomas at an all-star game. Neil Walker stayed with his parents for a long time and did not necessarily want to live alone until his mother kicked him out of her house in North Hills. He is Christian and Roman Catholic. Not only does he practice, but he also serves weekly mass for Catholics on his team.

He started with the Pittsburgh Pirates in the Minor League and was ranked 74th in Baseball America’s Top 100 Outlook after three seasons. After an outstanding performance from 2007 to 2009, he made his MLB debut by winning the Pirates trophies, much to the delight of his coach, teammates, and fans. Neil Walker plays as second baseman and first baseman for the New York Yankees in jersey number 14, started his career as a professional with the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2009-2015, played for the New York Mets from 2016-2017, played for the Milwaukee Brewers in 2017 and is currently with the New York Yankees. In 2017 he earned $17.2 million and had 131 home runs.

Neil Walker was born in America into the family of Tom and Carolyn Walker. His father Tom Walker was an athlete who was a major league pitcher from 1972 to 1977, and he was a former teammate of Roberto Clemente. His mother’s profession is not known. Neil is not the only player in his family, his brother Matt played college baseball and made it into the minor league with the Detroit Tigers and the Baltimore Orioles. His second brother Sean was a pitcher at George Mason University, and his sister Carrie used to play basketball, while his uncle was also a pitcher.

Neil met his crush on Niki in high school, and although they didn’t form a relationship back then, they kept the friendship tag, more because she was a year ahead of him. They met shortly after Neil’s decision to play professional baseball and were married on December 3, 2011, in Welford, Pennsylvania.

After five years of happy togetherness, they welcomed their first child, Nora, on August 23, 2016. The couple lives in a suburb outside of Pittsburgh, but visits Colorado more often, probably because Niki was born there. Niki loves hiking and outdoor activities. The couple also has a pet – an Australian shepherd dog named Oliver.
