Rihanna (34) is no slouch! The long-awaited Super Bowl 2023 took place last weekend. None other than the “Diamonds” interpreter performed at half-time and made for a mega performance. Previously, the musician traveled to Arizona with her loved ones seven days early to prepare for her performance at the Super Bowl – and Rihanna dug into her pockets for that!
As TMZ wants to know, the 34-year-old rented a villa almost 50 kilometers from the stadium: Rihanna is said to have paid almost 80,000 euros for one night, so she had to shell out around 480,000 euros for the six nights before the Super Bowl! But the price seems to have been worth it: the house is a real gem with five bedrooms, an XXL pool, and a walk-in wine cellar on 6,434 square meters.
But although Rihanna dug into her pocket for the accommodation and created a great atmosphere in the stadium, the 34-year-old’s performance was less worth it financially – she earned almost nothing from her performance! “The NFL covers all costs associated with the halftime show and pays what’s called a performer’s union cut. But we don’t actually pay the performers to perform,” NFL director Brian McCarthy told Newsweek
